Four high school girls in uniforms walk silently on the barren earth. These girls are time travelers who had been sent 6000 years into the future, from their present in which the same day is endlessly repeated, in order to evade human extinction. They studied time travel in school, were examined by the aptitude test, and were sent to the future as told. What should they do now? They had no idea. The only thing they could take with them from the present was a light, toy-like cellphone. Of course, it receives no signal here. As the girls are walking, they see strange birds flying in the sky, and a discolored river in the distance. Then, one girl finds an abandoned house, and recognizes the name inscribed on the front gates.

First off, i have to say i was extremely confused with the whole story in general. The details, characters and everything were so annoyingly vague it had me frustrated to no end. And i have NO idea how this happened but even though i totally didn't get what was going on, by the end i was pretty much bawling my eyes out. Now i personally think its extremely unfair that i was so 'emotionally abused' by this 30 minute anime movie that didn't even make sense! I mean i have a general 'idea' but basically everything was so vague that it wasn't something i wouldconsider an 'enjoyable' experience. However reading other reviews, I've heard people say that you have to read the manga and light novel or something to fully understand. But i didn't and maybe thats why for me it was so confusing. So if you wanna give this a go, you may wanna try the manga (apparently it covers the past--why the day kept repeating) and the light novel (apparently covers the present--making of the movie) Anyway i think thats too much of a hassle for someone who just wants to check out a simple anime movie that caught their eye only to be confused as hell because they never got the memo to read the manga & light novel beforehand. *sigh* seriously they should have just fit all that into the movie. Had they done so, maybe i wouldn't feel so emotionally abused, for crying my eyes out over a story i didn't even get. Animation was beautiful. Sound was good too. Ending song was a blur for me since by then i was pretty much drowning in my own tears and frustration. But i know it was pretty much something that encouraged the tears. Im not gonna even try and explain the 'story' (*mumbles* whatever the fuck that was supposed to be about) but you can read the synopsis and that is basically all i understand from this anime movie since i have not read the manga/light novel. So as you can probably tell if you actually read all that emotional ranting--I'm not so great at reviews, but I'm trying to get better hence why I'm writing this. Haha no. actually thats a lie. Im just writing this to rant my emotional stress after watching the movie. I needed an outlet and I'm using this and passing it as a 'review'. ok, so thats that. And with that my rant is now over. *phew* AHHH that feels so much better. :P

First of, this is my very first review of anything here on MAL ever and it will therefore also considering this to be an 1Episode OVA be rather straight forward and not too long. Have you ever been thinking how the future might affect your past and viceverse? Well, what this 1 episode OVA tries to do is to sort of make your brain twist around 360 degrees and make you think once again about how the future possibly could be like, aswell how it could affect your past and how the two are connected to eachother. The story is in my opinion slightly mindtwisting due tomy previous statement but does however do well considering that it infact is only 30minutes long and the creators actually manages to deliever a message which I believe is rather hard to do in such short amount of time. Story: It's hard to really review the story without spoiling anything so it'll be a rather short one. It is basically a story about 4 high schoolgirls who has leapt through time, 6000 years from their current present time into the future. They are stuck in that very loop of time without any sign of any other mankind. I didn't really get what their goal was or what they were trying to achieve but nonetheless it got me interested and I sat hooked to it throughout the whole OVA since they brought up some interesting ideas on how future and past could be connected to eachother. Art: It's fine, pretty much today's avarage anime quality. Sound: I found that they really had put alot of work into the quality of sound, aswell as having a good amount of sounds and effects, suiting every situation really well. Character: For the characters they aren't really anything to mention, there is no introduction to them except for Yakusa whom seems like the main protagonist of the story, overall they are just like normal high school girls. Overall: Hence I found the story aswell as their theories quite interesting and all of the sound fitting to each and another event, which hooked me to it. I think people should give this OVA a chanse because it has some really interesting stuff to "tell" you. Thanks! PS. I'm sorry if you find the parts of the review repetetive and if there are some errors in there, but it is as said, my first review here on MAL. :)
