Harry is definitely not your average American teenager. Instead, he is the epitome of an "alienated youth"—friendless at school, extremely weird, and nervous to the point of paranoia. But a chance occurrence causes Harry to start to demonstrate what appear to be psychic powers—yet he neither believes in them nor consciously controls them. However, there are other ominous forces at work who do believe in Harry and attempt to make use of him in ways that are threatening and frightful. (Source: AniDB, edited)

I really liked this series. You wouldn't think it would work, but there's some quite clever aspects to it. Its incredibly difficult to explain this without giving spoilers. It does some very good jobs of torturing its characters in such a varied way that it makes those characters great. Harry really develops, and his fear is really believable. The story is cool, although the last episode leaves a little to be desired. You may have heard the ending is shit. This isn't true. It just could with a few more minutes! Still you leave the series without any sad ending you may have been fearing, and with no out of place fairy tale ending, but you get closure. Its a cool ending. The art is pretty interesting, especially the opening sequence which is.. bizarre. The character design is generally nice, and in some aspects a little more realistic than usual. The soundtrack is good, I don't pay any special attention to it, but it works well with everything else. Try this series, at least the first couple of episodes. I know it says to avoid spoilers, but this is nowhere near as bad as the spoiler that is in most of the synopsis's of this series- In the first episode there is an almost rape scene. If that disturbs you, you may want to stay away. Its quite awkward to watch. Still- it'd be ashame to stay away over one scene. But don't say nobody warned you.

Okay, so I'm a fan of all that psychic junk which is what dragged me in. Granted I get bored of that fairly quickly, but before I got bored they introduced one of those weird background motives of why you have such a strange protagonist. Those kind of things always draw me in, especially when they make you think at the end, and if do watch this and are open-minded to a lot of stuff, I guarantee you will...^^
