Rate a 5 English Subtitled Story Not very original, plus on the good parts are saved until the last episode. In the introduction we are given a basic premise. A lost item that is hard to acquire. The only reason that isn't just one episode is because a counter team is running interference. Strangely enough the enemy team bares a close resemblance in nature like team rocket from Pokemon. Ending isn't any better. For the quest seems to have potentially stopped. I say seemed to because the last episode was mainly about yearning and completion. With a major concept being realization. Which happens in more ways than one.I can't say that more episodes are needed for this show. Aside from having a better follow-up ending that is more based on the background of the plot. Like for example the true owners of the gem arriving to the seen or their commanders. Or the origin of the stone. Yes, episode 1 was interesting for basically all information was new. But as for the last three you can change certain things but still arrive back without much new information. Artwork I admired it. For a short anime that was based on a gem it was nice to see a reflection of beauty. So, the idea of having short characters was a good call. Face it, at least in America anything that is small is widely popular and appreciated:gems, money, kids, food, puppies.

If you have 32 minutes free one afternoon there are worse things you can do than watch Komachi and Dangorou. With only 4 episodes at 8 minutes long the show is as short as the titular characters. Story... Limited Animation...fun Heart...loads Despite being created as a promotion for the prefecture of Niigata the plot is a wild ride as our two main characters blunder endearingly through sci-fi battles and make enemies with a theif and her get away driver. The 4 episodes were aired over as many years but despite this the story is self contained but follows through well. This could easily fit ina line up of Saturday morning cartoons. The only downside is there isn't more of it! Uhhhh 8 out of 10
