4 day weekend is a AMV with the song of the same name made by the band Bluetones. The music video is quite interesting even though the plot suffers from the classic ex machina twist but where the ending flips it all upside down :) The song is of course something people may or may not like depending on ones taste but luckily I am glad to see an AMV which fits to the music itself!! The animation is okay but it has some poor CGI moments especially when we just see a glimpse of the band, so that is a bummer. But I do like the setting andI am quite interested in the "world" the characters live in.

Rate:6 English Spoken music style: mix between light rock and metal. Not as much metal for it was more sad heartened than angry. Story/art/music -Hard to follow in some parts. The parts that could be followed the art did a good job matching up with the story and music. -It was a shame to see in the art poor CGI moments like the close up on the band playing the song. -Some of the vocals were hard to interpret what was said. Not the anime's fault per-say. For some songs like this one are like that. However, they could have glued subtitles into the art during those moments.-The start of the animation was a wonderful start in many ways. You have a calm low key musical followed with relaxing artwork depiction. When the music starts cranking in to high gear you are cued into a perfect form of transition art wise. - The anime had some good use of artwork symbolism. Such as the shadow for the 'dead'. -The ending was a nice touch as well. Had the same tempo as it started. So, it was only logical you would get that art work animation back. I would go further in but i don't wish to give anything away.
