Goro Kumagaya is an established, tall middle-school goalkeeper who wanted to enter Yokonan high-school that is considered to be among the elites in terms of its football club, only to fail and end up in the lowly-ranked school opposite to Yokonan because of an accident. However, he met Shingo, Hideki and Kazuhito Oda who are all skillful footballers there and together in the Kawasaki High School football club, they challenge Yokonan and any other schools that they have to face in order to improve and become the champions. Any setbacks that they face would instead be an opportunity for a better improvement; one of which was the discovery of Goro's natural talent as an ace striker. (Source: ANN)

This anime is one of my favorite sports animes specially when I was a child Story : A rather huge looking goalkeeper ( who is also very innocent) ends up not going to the exam of one of the soccer powerhouses in his region and thus enters a no name school and together with the new team he tries to go to the nationals. Characters : The main guy is really pure most of the time but his anger is really something else lolll anyway I like the characters actually I'm not into sports at all but i really liked this anime The story isso good and the idea is kind of new for a goal keeper to change into an attacker it`s really good I watched the anime in Arabic and only recently found the Japanese episodes but even the Arabic dub was amazing in my POV.
