Doujin video produced by noted ero mangaka and erogame character designer Shinda Mane based on one of his Union of the Snake doujinshi featuring the cute yuri police girls he was rather fond of. Originally released on VHS at the 53rd Comiket in Winter 1997. (Source: AniDB)

A very unique, experimental and short OVA sold at a comic convention in 1997. If you enjoy obscure media, this is exactly for you! Few animes manage to capture the aesthetics of amateur 90s doujin. It reminds me a lot of Mahou Shoujo Diana, which has a similar origin. The low quality, poor animation and unique art style combine strangely well together. The brief plot is actually interesting, even though it's open-ended. I never comment about music in my reviews, however the OST here will surprise many, with artsy-electronic pop and deep bass. Truly a H hidden gem that only few will appreciate.

Rate: 9 Censorship: Unclear, for there is blockage rather than blurring. Categories: Mystery, drama Tags: Soft-core/hardcore blend, Solo, implied rape, toys Story - I love how the character’s attributes show. For example when you think of a police officer you think a high level of deduction. - Introduction was quite interesting. Not only that, but really stayed in character. In other words you were put temporarily in the main character’s position. Notice the lack of seeing anything followed by the sudden noise emission, it matches up when you think about it. - Ending was also good. Normally stories like these have me worried. For I am sadden by anything brutal. I just don’t see theappeal in inflicting harm on another. Any who, in the ending it is shown/written in a multiple ending interpretation. Which works well with the mystery concept. So, rather than going with the idea or brutal rape for all we know it could just very well be her active imagination rather than reality. -Only part I did not enjoy was the lack of evidence to answer the questions raised. Then again most likely was a well thought out marketing tactic for the manga? Art Art is lovely. Not bad for a production preceding 2000 era.
