Yori and his twin sister Iku used to be very close as children but lately Yori has grown colder toward Iku and is always eager to stay away from her. Iku was confused by Yori's attitude. Actually Yori is in love with Iku and that forbidden love is causing Yori sleepless nights since Yori and Iku are sharing the same room with bunk beds. Yori tried to ease his intense desire for Iku by bedding Iku's best friend. He had even applied to attend a boarding school in another city to take him far away from Iku. Yori lost his resolve to stay quiet about his feelings when Iku started to talk about having a boyfriend and going on dates. Now Yori want to have his little sister and he confessed. Iku loves her big brother and wanted them to stay together, so Iku is willing to anything to keep them together. But Yori wanted to have Iku as a lover, not as a sister loyal to her twin.

Ok I've watched close to 80 different anime, all types, and one thing I've learned is that you cant judge until you watched the whole thing. However, when I heard of "I Love My Younger Sister", I was skeptical. I mean, there are some messed up anime out there, but a story about twins not wanting to love each other as siblings but as lovers? Now thats messed up, but when I saw reviews and thought about it I decided, "What's the harm?". And when I finally watched it, Wow! What a amazing story! Ok, it was beyond depressing, but it was still really good.Weather you support their love or not, you cant deny how great this is. Two thumbs way up!

Okay this is my first ever review written so please bear with me if my review writing skills aren't top notch. I was compelled to write a review for this OVA as the ratings of other reviews confused me as whether this was a outstanding OVA or mediocre. So here it goes: Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru is I'm in Love with my Little Sister in english and from the title we can already see where this OVA is heading. The story doesn't incorporate many different elements to fully flesh out the story however considering the length of the OVA it is very muchunderstandable. Story: The story was not your most original however actually incorporating the genre of incestuous relationships is for me a first for anime. The story is basically as you know it, forbidden love that cannot flourish for obvious reasons and the emotional conflict that comes as a result. There isn't much story either rather it conveys the emotional struggle that the siblings experience during their daily lives. The story at first seems to drag along and then suddenly jump start into a really fast pace and then slow down to a slow jogging pace. Art: The first impression of the art reminds me of a typical shoujo manga as the character's hair seem silky and long, the art of the environment is what really caught my attention as everything seemed rather life like (except the school grounds) but the art was pretty good other than that there really isn't much that makes the art appealing. Sound: Well the sound wasn't very noticeable only does the OP and ED really stand out, the OP is just instrumentals that convey a relaxed, tranquil mood while the ED is some random rock group that personally I thought had very bad taste in making music. Character: The characters weren't out of the ordinary rather Iku is just a cheerful young girl while Yori is a frustrated teen that can't seem to calm his emotions. There wasn't really much space for character development as their love interests were already set from the beginning. Basically what character development consisted of was resolving inner conflict and realization of personal feelings. Enjoyment: I would say i really enjoyed this OVA as it conveys love in a different light however it doesn't throw it out of context rather it keeps a very realistic feel to it. The only objection I have to the whole thing was the portrayal of sexual acts between the characters because they weren't even in high school yet (personally I am a strong believer of sex after marriage so that's why I knocked down my ratings a little bit) but all in all I'd say it was quite good. Overall: Overall the OVA wasn't the best out there but it wasn't the worst, it really brings out the theme that romance isn't always perfect out there, love cannot overcome all obstacles but we can always try our best to maintain it.
