Eve is back with his latest music video "Heikousen", and it's honestly quite good. Like most of Eve's other works, the MV features original animated content. Unlike most of his other works, however, it's shown in a very simple and straightforward way. Although nothing special, the story is very sweet and heartwarming. It's about two childhood friends who have always been together—throwing paper planes, playing games, and simply having a lot of fun. That is until one day, the girl has to move out and leave the boy. But before that, she wants to make him chocolate for Valentine's Day and spend time with him. While notas innovative as his other MVs, the animation is very beautiful and fluid. Moreover, there are a few subtle details here and there that help with the characterization of the two main leads and let us know a bit more about them individually. The song, although not Eve's best, is also quite decent. Both Eve and suis sing beautifully here. To summarize, a short yet lovely story, beautiful visuals, and a decent song. All in all, a good music video. You should definitely check it out.

Informative review. Well, I can't say much, you get with what it says on the tin with "Heikousen". Not surprisingly, it looked stunning, great eye-candy if you want just that and nothing more. Fluid animation and camera movement check out too. No need to mention the spectacular singing on Eve's behalf too, because we all know that is great, otherwise we wouldn't be here. No complaints with the audiovisuals. There is actually a little story to be told, one with a boy and girl growing up together, osananajimi type relationship, blooming into a little more than that later on. Every kind of cliched plot devices checks outhere. But hey, this is a music video, no real need to try hard anyway. It's good in that category. 7/10 for a music video, would recommend it as something simple but shiny.
