Nothing can compare to the joyous whimsicality that is experienced when launching up The Autobots for the first time. You're immediately transported into the comfortable confines of the past: a simpler time with problems few and far between. The Autobots, for most people, is an escape from the harsh realities of the real world, allowing those who seek refuge to be welcomed into loving arms. Once every decade we are graced with a creation from a brilliant mind, a hand being reached down from the heavens to benefit mere mortals. A visionary in media and a cornerstone of thematic complexity: a film among movies.

The only bearable way to watch this is in 2x speed. Since you cant understand the movie you only get plot from putting a few scenes together and filling in the rest. The characters are awfully shallow for my liking, and the plot is not very similar to cars which disappointed me. Would not watch again. Many scenes were also reused, in the climax of the movie they used the same one scene of the crowd probably 15 times. It would have been appreciated if there was more effort put into the animation. I wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone unless you are being forcedto watch it with your eyelids held open.
